Ed Elvish 2016

 

After Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Darlington I progressed to Durham University for my Science Degree which was followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. 

I then spent 15 years teaching in grammar and comprehensive schools in Seaham before I was appointed to the senior team set up to establish a new tertiary college in Peterlee, Co. Durham. 

After 8 years in college eventually as Deputy Principal, I was then appointed Principal of Barrow-in-Furness Sixth Form College. 

13 years later I took retirement. Hobbies and interests; Football, (Middlesborough supporter), cycling, walking, and music.
