Information from Tony Kay:

This particular team (with a few changes in personnel) went unbeaten from their inception through every RU game and sevens and nines competition in the county.

They then took on the local RL fraternity post comprehensive schooling switch and wiped the floor with them also.

They reached the semi-final of the Lancs school championship where they were robbed by a terrible home ref who played nearly 10 mins of injury time until the Leigh school scored.

They also reached the All England schools semi-final where they came across a generational Wigan school team called Wigan St John Fisher who beat us 46-0!

We were 15/16 olds and their stand off was a 13 year old called Shaun Edwards!

Their team, in the main, became professional superstars!
